can you check the times shown for games as I think they are local times. How can I change to UK time – spreadsheet is protected.
Hi Michael,
In the Excel 2007 version, there is a drop down list on the right which should automatically change the time zones for you. I haven’t done that in the 2003 version – mainly because I don’t have 2003 so don’t know what is required to do it!
Cheers!
Excellent sheet!!!
Great tracker, but there’s no option for Brisbane in the Time diff section (+9) ?
I’ve updated it for you now Bill. Enjoy the World Cup in Brissie!
This is excellent, many thanks
Checked your spreadsheet – unfortunately fixtures 51 and 52 are incorrect.
51 should be winner of 1D v 2C
52 should be winner of 1B v 2A
Showing the wrong way round
Paul, you’ve got Germany/Australia and Algeria/Slovenia overlapping. Are those times correct?
Thanks Mike and Dan!
Well spotted – I’ve updated the spreadsheet so it should be all good now.
The entry to decide tie breaks by lots appears to be locked. (using 2003).
Hi Wazza,
I’ve updated it now for you – get loads of goals scored and I’ll see you lift that trophy in Johannesburg on July 11th!
the calculations do not add up correctly in several places, for example Group C game 22, enter a score of 1-0 to Slovenia and in the group box the win is awarded to England???
Double check this before the games get underway as they’ll be a lot of annoyed people LOL
thanks for the hard work
Thanks for the info Kevin!
I changed it and it looks like in my haste, I didn’t check it.
I’ve relooked at it again today and it should be fine for you now!
Paul…
Appreciate the good work, cheers
EXCELENTE, GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR
SALUDOS
Nice !!!
Best WC spreadsheet ever. Many thanks.
Great stuff!!!!
Thanks Paul…. Look forward to the Rugby schedule for next year too. (-;

I might do some of my own job as well. lol.
Hi, not complaining at all, the 2003 version works great, but I can’t download the 2007 version, can you help?
I still can’t download the 2007 version
Great s/sheet – thanks.
Can you check you’ve addressed Mike B’s comment/suggestion of 24th May for .xls 2003 version? Seems to still be the wrong way around. Thanks.
Come on you All White’s…!!!
Hi Dunko,
I’ve reuploaded it so it should work fine now!
Thanks!
I’m trying to download the 2007 version but I keep getting a 403 Error. I really would like to be able to change the time for USA!
I’ve reuploaded it so hopefully it should work fine for you now!
Just downloaded the 2003 version! Hooray!
Excellent job, sir!
Great spreadsheet and blog!
Great Job… Amazing look. Thank you for sharing!!!
Yours was the first hit on Google…. I had a look at the spreadsheet ….. AWESOME!
Thanks Paul for the hard work and to others that did the preliminary testing and provided feedback.
Great work Paul!
I am sorry I still can’t figure out how to change the time zone. You mentioned about a Drop down list on the right but I can’t find it. I am using Excel 2007.
Thanks Nabeel. It should be on the right with a “click here” dropdown.
I don’t know how I missed that!
Thanks again!
Thanks very much guys…………great stuff!!!!
Great reviews, but I can’t download the 2007 version. Any idea’s
It was hosted on Google and there seems to have been an issue with the hosting. I’ve reuploaded it now, so hopefully it should work fine now!
Thank you, great document. I’m looking forward to filling it in.
thank you!
I have never completed one of these trackers before – is is easy to follow once you get going?
Hi Mary,
Yes it’s dead easy – just fill in the correct scores!
I see – the other fields autofill. I can’t change the times to US in the 2003 version, and I can’t download the 2007 version – I get the 403 error mentioned above.
Hi Paul
Great job
Any chance you could put Adelaide’s time zone in? (+8 1/2)
Adrian
Excellent – I all now ALL ready!
Great work right there.
Can you update the 2007 version with India time difference (GMT +530, +330 in your chart)
Hi manas,
I’m at the World Cup now so I can’t update it.
Sorry mate!
Many thanks & great work. I arranged a TOTO in my office with my colleagues. Do you mind if I use your spreadsheet for tracking?
No, of course not. Go for it!
Great, Thank You!
I was able to download the 2007 version – yay! I entered New York for the time zone, and the dates and times all changed to ## marks. Under the time zone area, there is a field that says #NAME? that I can’t access. Sorry I need so much help!
Success! I downloaded the spreadsheet, it’s brilliant. Thanks!
Never mind – I got it to work on my home PC.
i keep getting a 403 on both versions. any chance you could email me the 2007 one…?
ha – never mind, it just started downloading!
it’s brilliant, by the way – well done and thanks.
Great Spreadsheet!
Paul, it is indeed a great app, however I would kindly ask you to please include Central America time (-6 GMT). There are many soccer fans in the area, Honduras is playing the World Cup, and I have told all my friends and followers that this is the best World Cup score-spreadsheet ever.
I truly appreciate it.
Cheers!
I’m at the World Cup now so unfortunately I won’t be able to change it. Sorry about that!
I loved your 2006 version and the 2010 version looks to be even better. Well done again Paul.
Hey Paul, just noticed there’s no Adelaide in your time zone list. Any chance of adding it?
I’m at the World Cup now so unfortunately I won’t be able to change it though. Sorry about that!
Cheers mate !
the spreadsheet is fantastic, just what I have been looking for !!
many thanks
Phil
Come on England !!
Hey Paul,
Great Spreadsheet. I would like the -4 Time Zone Added for Caracas/La Paz. Also, can I display it on my website to update results with the appropriate link back to your original website?
Thanks,
Randall
Yes of course it is mate. I’m at the World Cup now so unfortunately I won’t be able to change it though. Sorry about that!
This is truly amazing what you have done! Thanks a million. How can we change the Second round tab to include the team names when the time comes?
Hi Sam,
It should do it for you automatically when the time comes.
Cheers!
Amazingly well done spreadsheet! I hope you’ll do one for the 2014 world cup as well.
Best,
Sam
Great job. Used your spreadsheet in the past.
Appreciate you efforts.
